DOMINO – Joining System
Sagetech Machinery attended a Festool
training course in July in Bury St. Edmunds and over a couple of days we got to
get hands on with a lot of the tools Festool provide. One of those tools was the
Festool Domino - a simplistic, easy-to-use and incredibly useful tool.

The Festool Domino has two different models in the DF 500
and the DF 700 and it is used to join timber in a simplistic and convenient
manner. Once you understand the tool (which does not take much effort or length
of time at all), the Domino will be a woodworker’s best friend and it will make
their life so much easier.

The main applications of the Domino are:
- Furniture manufacture
- Frame construction of doors
- Manufacture of tables and chairs
- Interior fittingWindow construction

Overall, the Domino is an incredibly useful tool and if you are a fan of woodworking, then we fully
recommend the Domino as it will bring your speed and efficiency of projects and
